Designing online forms

I have put the feedback script into my contact page but what do I need to do to get it to work?

If I open the contact page in explorer and fill in the contact details I keep getting an error.

Do I need to link the form to a database and if so how do I do that?

Answer

form messages can only be sent if they have the correct format and address for your website host.

You may need to provide a cgi-bin or .asp file but contact your host or look in the FAQ files to find out what to do.

There are also several free and simple form systems you can use by simply embedding code in your site. Again check what your host has to offer and or search in Google.
